First off, I thought we had this Windows Vista ordeal over with, but I was wrong. After uninstalling the Vista program, our attempts to recover my Windows XP have been unsuccessful. So, tomorrow I will get to return to Office Depot to rectify this situation. Until then, I have to thank one of my best friends and web designer James for allowing me to dictate my blogs through him. Are you unfamiliar with “Mercury Retrograde”? Google it!
Next, I also purchased a notebook camera, which I will be learning to use in the very near future. I plan to use this camera to inform, educate, and/or entertain my family and friends. Every week I will pick an item, product or service on the internet that I believe has value to my friends and family. This weekly item, product or service is going to be found under my section I am calling Jules “Jewels”.
How did the travel party go, you ask? Outstanding! We had one person sign up and three more saying they are interested in attending another travel meeting. All in all, it was a terrific turn out. If anyone in Southern California is interested in attending one of these FREE meetings please contact me.
How was my Screen Play Lab Workshop with Robin Rowe and Gabrielle Pantera? It was magical! Last week it was held at Raleigh Studios in a small screening room (theater) on the lot. We, the audience, were blessed to hear Gabrielle’s second part from her spec “Grey’s Anatomy; You’ve Got A Friend” script. Gabrielle has a very strong sense of television episodic writing, especially when it comes to “Grey’s Anatomy”. For example, her pacing of the script is spot on. Her character development is 100% in line with the characters of “Grey’s Anatomy”. I was also lucky enough to have been at the reading of Part 1 of Gabrielle’s script two weeks ago as well. I know she is submitting this script to the ABC/Disney Fellowship Program – I believe she should be a shoe in and should have no problems being accepted. GOOD LUCK Gabrielle! You ARE a talented screenwriter!!!!! I am a huge fan of “Grey’s Anatomy” and as such I have followed all of the seasons and am familiar with all of the episodes. Gabrielle, your spec script would work quite nicely where this last season’s finale left off.
This summer I have been training with the #1 commercial workshop coach named Mike Pointer. The name of his studio is; “Hey, I Saw Your Commercial!” I really enjoy the way he teaches his class, because he is a very open, honest, light and gifted coach. I look forward to taking his Commercial II class every Saturday in July. It’s that time of year again. . . Time to get new headshots. This summer I am going to have Mike Pointer shoot my new headshots.
Last but not least, I watched the “Larry King Live” interview with Paris Hilton. I am going to go out on a limb here, and I know I’m going to get slammed for saying it (possibly even by my webmaster) BUT – I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Miss Hilton’s new found words of wisdom. It seems to me, Miss Hilton’s stay in jail has transformed her into a more mature and concerned citizen. At the end of the interview, Miss Hilton went on to state she is going to become more involved in speaking out and working with people with the Multiple Sclerosis Society and various other charities. I look forward to witnessing Miss Hilton’s more active community involvement. Only time will tell if she has truly changed. I, Jules Harding, like to give EVERYONE the benefit of the doubt. I wish Miss Hilton many blessings and good luck with her NEW future!!!!
Have a beautiful, blessed and outstanding day! Aloha!
P.S. Currently I am seeking something interesting to do for the Fourth of July... Any suggestions?Current Location: www.julesharding.com
